Our Standard Powder Horns are a definite step up from the Basic horn. They maintain the plain tip with a strap groove. However, the base plug is individually hand turned from hard maple. The simple acorn anchors the carry strap. For a distinctive appearance there is a decorative groove cut around the base plug. The standard finish is antiqued and polished. A large horn will measure from 10 1/2 to 14″ and with the base plug the overall length will be from 12 1/2 to 14 1/2 inches and from 2 1/4 to 2 3/4″ in diameter.
